7 Up
7 Up is a non-caffeinated lemon-lime flavoured soft drink created by Charles Leiper Grigg in 1929, originally named “Bib-Label Lithiated Lemon-Lime Soda”. The formula initially contained lithium citrate, a mood-stabilizing drug, which was removed in 1948. Its name was shortened multiple times, eventually becoming the well-known “7 Up” by 1950, although the exact origin of the name remains a mystery.
